Bahereh Mohi was born in Azerbaijan, Iran, and moved to Tehran at a young age, where her lifelong love for reading and storytelling began. As a child, she immersed herself in books and newspapers, finding joy in stories and articles, even when she couldn’t fully grasp every word. This early passion for literature inspired her to start writing at the age of 17, capturing the hearts of her classmates with her first long story.
Bahereh's journey as a writer was deeply influenced by her 48-year marriage to her husband, a military pilot educated in the U.S. Their enduring love story and her experience of loss after his passing have profoundly shaped her writing, infusing it with themes of resilience, hope, and the timeless pursuit of true love.
Now, as an accomplished author, Behereh continues to write stories that resonate with readers, aspiring to create narratives that linger in the mind and heart long after the final page. Her works include the acclaimed novels Sepideh Omid (The Dawn of Hope) and Cheshm-Entezar (On the Way), as well as several short stories and upcoming publications. Behereh’s writing is driven by a desire to capture the essence of enduring love and the human spirit’s capacity to overcome life’s greatest challenges.
